“Sustain the Lag...”(Homer Kelley)
At TGSWA, our curriculum is based on The Golfing Machine (TGM) , a book that was written by Homer Kelley in 1969. He’s probably the most influential man in the history of golf that you’ve never heard of.
And even though most players have never heard of Kelley, ask any top-tier instructor and they’ll know exactly who he is. Kelley devoted 30 plus years of his life to analyzing the golf swing and ultimately created a system that broke down the swing based on the principles of simple physics and geometry. In effect, Homer Kelley “defined” the golf swing.
TGM is like an encyclopedia. It breaks down every aspect of the golf swing into components. Of these components some variations work better together than others, there is no “perfect swing”. There are just combinations of components that may or may not work well together.
At TGSWA we help golfers find their combination of components that fit their individual swing.
